3/14/2024 0 Comments Cisco vpn client osx![]() To my knowledge there is no firmware yet available to resolve this issue. On Microsoft products the Java update doesn't lock down the security of the OS like it did in the MAC's. This is a security restriction issue with the MAC OS X operating system. Cisco is aware of this problem and is working on a solution. We tried running in root user with no success ether. We then tested again and was receiving a Java Security violation error. We tested with 6 update 22 then performed an update to the OS. We tested at SBSC using a MAC OS X 10.6 with TimeMachine running. Java version 6 update 22 was the last version that was working. SSL VPN client for Small Business Devices are supported, but with the most recent update to the Java version it breaks the MAC's ability to write the needed files to the machine to run the VPN Client. ![]()
